Responsibilities

  • Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware development, bring up and validation.
  • Own projects with a focus on shipping products, acting as a “full-stack” engineer for electronics engineering.
  • Be responsible for the design of subsystems such as sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics, considering tradeoffs between electrical and mechanical requirements.
  • Back up design decisions with data gathered through simulations and experiments.
  • Support designs throughout the product life cycle, from early research to debugging field failures.
