Staff Software Engineer - Wallet (Authentication & Verification Experiences)

Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient authentication experiences, including MFA, passkeys, biometrics, and OAuth2/OIDC-based login systems.
- Lead the technical design of end-to-end member-facing identity verification flows, ensuring they meet NIST 800-63-3 IAL2/AAL2 standards.
- Serve as a technical anchor, setting standards for code quality, system design, and engineering best practices, and mentor engineers.
- Partner with Security, Platform, Identity Graph, Product, and Compliance teams to deliver cohesive features and integrations, driving alignment on architectural decisions.
- Own the availability and performance of authentication services at scale, leading initiatives in observability, capacity planning, and incident response.
