Responsibilities
- Support and execute functional safety analyses (e.g., HARA) for base vehicle programs to identify hazards and safety goals
- Support supplier and OEM safety management activities, including reviewing safety work products and DIA compliance
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering and HW Engineering to define safety interfaces between the ADS and the vehicle platform
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews as a safety representative to ensure safety goals and requirements are met
- Guide regulatory teams through their vehicle platform certification efforts
