Responsibilities
- Provide DASD and tape storage administration support for customers and manage storage pools across multiple LPARs.
- Perform data and volume recovery, system diagnostics, and daily/weekly/monthly backup job creation.
- Execute software and hardware refreshes, customer migrations, and data center migrations.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation.
- Mentor and train other storage team members while interacting with vendors and account management.
