Responsibilities

• Lead Axon’s journey into Istio service mesh applications, forming the foundation of Axon’s future strategy to scale.
• Advance new features and steward existing system components, managing vulnerabilities with timely precision under strict regulatory regimes like FedRAMP.
• Advise software engineers on networking topics through design reviews, ad hoc questions, and pair programming sessions.
• Automate routine maintenance of the cloud platform to achieve minimal downtime (4x9s availability), including TLS certificate management and automation.
• Work on a mixed infrastructure/software team that owns critical networking-related aspects of Axon systems.
