Responsibilities
- Coordinate data center remote hands for hardware troubleshooting and replacement tasks (power supplies, memory, drives, cables, motherboard).
- Work with vendors for equipment reception and verification against Bills of Materials (BOMs); create data center diagrams and rack elevations.
- Perform occasional on-site travel to local and remote data centers for break/fix hardware replacements and other projects.
- Coordinate with internal service owners for scheduled server component replacement downtime and submit LOAs to colocation vendors for new transit circuits.
- Maintain an updated inventory of spare parts, document common recurring data center tasks, and manage Jira projects for hardware-related initiatives.
