Responsibilities
- Drive the developer experience for DeepL APIs, streamlining the journey from visitor to activated developer through intuitive self-service experiences and onboarding flows.
- Build the API ecosystem by creating reusable components, comprehensive documentation, starter templates, and client libraries (SDKs) to empower customers and ISVs.
- Act as the API standard-bearer across DeepL, partnering with various teams to ensure consistency, security, and reliability of all customer-facing APIs.
- Implement automated quality gates, strict contract testing, and robust monitoring to prevent breaking changes and security vulnerabilities.
- Own production operations, incident response, and continuous improvement for services, focusing on mature SLOs and comprehensive testing.
