Responsibilities
- Work with Product & Engineering stakeholders to understand and improve Waymo’s pickup & dropoff performance across various contexts.
- Run experiments to ensure that new driving behaviors are creating the intended improvements for our riders.
- Build ML models to identify anomalous pickup & dropoff behavior.
- Develop metrics that clarify what a ‘good’ pickup & dropoff is in various contexts, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure metric availability.
- Conduct deep dive analysis to identify areas for future improvement.
