Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction for Claude’s core chat experience on mobile (iOS and Android apps) and influence its evolution across web and other clients.
• Partner with various internal teams to ensure their work integrates seamlessly into the app and enhances product functionality.
• Deeply engage with iOS and Android platform internals, including rendering, text, streaming, and performance, to enable advanced user experiences.
• Collaborate with design to deliver a fast, polished, and thoughtful interface, and establish quality systems to maintain high standards.
• Provide an engineering perspective to product strategy, helping to define what to build, in what order, and why.
