Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate full-stack features end-to-end, including React/TypeScript front ends, Node.js/Java/Python backend services, data persistence, and event-driven integrations.
• Own the API lifecycle, encompassing design, versioning, deprecation, backward compatibility, and developer experience through OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Configure and tune the API gateway platform (MuleSoft) and implement robust authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, JWT).
• Partner with security and compliance to ensure systems meet financial services standards (SOC 2, PCI DSS, GLBA, GDPR/CCPA, SOX) and pass audits.
• Build comprehensive observability into all services, including structured logging, distributed tracing, metrics, alerting, and SLOs, and participate in on-call rotation and lead blameless postmortems.
