Responsibilities
- Support the development, maturation, and day-to-day operation of BETA’s Safety Management System (SMS) and Continued Operational Safety (COS) programs.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation, including defining new processes, piloting them within teams, gathering feedback, and iterating to improve effectiveness.
- Lead and facilitate hazard identification, safety risk assessments, and development of mitigation strategies for design, manufacturing, and operational activities.
- Support the intake, triage, and assessment of in-service safety reports and operational events, working with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in preparing the organization for FAA reviews and oversight by helping define compliance approaches and supporting internal readiness activities.

Requirements
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
