• Identify and design realistic scenarios for collision avoidance and detection using replay and synthetic simulations.
• Develop validation strategies for Automated Emergency Braking functions using simulation and structured testing.
• Identify gaps in simulation and public roads testing, designing structured test scenarios to address them, leveraging standards like NHTSA or NCAP.
• Support the building and use of models to quantify collision risk in scenarios with non-zero probability.
• Author test and residual risk reports, making strategic recommendations for improving simulation or test realism and autonomy architecture.
