Responsibilities

  • Own one or more scoped projects end to end with mentor support.
  • Conduct hull form resistance studies using parametric analysis and deliver trade space of drag vs. displacement vs. speed.
  • Perform internal volume and arrangement trade studies, building volume budgets and confirming hydrostatic support.
  • Conduct structural scantling analysis, sizing primary structure to ABS or DNV rules.
  • Develop deployment / recovery system concept designs including mechanical and naval-architecture aspects.
