Responsibilities

• Own system path-finding and architecture for compute domains, from concept and requirements through specification, design review, and deployment.
• Write and own high-level requirements and specifications for systems, boards, interfaces, and racks.
• Review partner and vendor designs against requirements and make build/buy/co-design decisions.
• Drive interconnect and networking architecture including scale-up/scale-out fabrics, NICs, switches, optics, and topology.
• Develop performance simulations, hardware models, and scenarios to evaluate and select hardware architectures.
