Manager, Software Engineering - Mobile Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead two high-impact mobile pods focusing on Mobile Platform strategy and Mobile Product feature development.
• Define and evolve cross-platform strategy (Native vs React Native vs Compose/KMP) and improve build systems, CI times, and developer productivity.
• Drive architectural simplification, reduce tech fragmentation, and ensure mobile scalability for IoT-heavy, real-time use cases.
• Manage 13-14 engineers, focusing on hiring, retention, development of senior ICs and future tech leads, and fostering a culture of ownership and technical rigor.
• Establish measurable KPIs for operational excellence including build time, CI stability, crash-free rate, app startup latency, and feature cycle time, while ensuring predictable sprint delivery.
