Responsibilities
- Lead a large proving ground, ensuring safe, efficient testing and engineering operations meet Waymo’s quality and project timeline requirements.
- Develop and execute strategic proving ground planning by identifying new testing needs, proposing infrastructure, staffing, and tooling, and overseeing implementation.
- Manage relationships with operating partners to meet engineering and operational SLAs and improve collaboration across teams.
- Evaluate novel test plans for safety and propose efficient, effective testing methodologies.
- Host and lead drive events and technical demonstrations on site for external partners and government officials.
