Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary authority on autonomous vehicle safety compliance, reporting to the Legal team and supporting the engineering safety team
• Review, quality-assure, and approve SGO incident narratives prior to submission, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Monitor federal and state AV regulatory requirements, NHTSA developments, and proposed rulemakings to identify compliance gaps
• Create and maintain a comprehensive library of compliance documentation, gap analyses, and submission records
• Advise on passenger and public safety best practices and brief executive leadership on regulatory strategy
