Responsibilities
- Build and ship Claude Design's core surfaces (design canvas, real-time editing, inline comments, live adjustment controls), iterating quickly for learning.
- Collaborate with research teams to translate frontier AI capabilities into intuitive, high-craft design experiences.
- Work directly with designers, internal testers, and external partners to gather feedback and validate product concepts.
- Set technical direction for complex frontend challenges including editor/canvas architecture, real-time collaboration, and performance.
- Operate as a technical leader on a small team, shaping the roadmap, making architecture decisions, and mentoring engineers.
