Responsibilities
- Provide safety research, risk measurement, and evidence-based recommendations to R&D teams.
- Inform how Spotify designs, launches, and improves features, focusing on AI-powered experiences, recommendations, social/messaging surfaces, and younger users' safety.
- Help product teams understand where risks concentrate, affected user segments, and effective interventions.
- Partner with Trust & Safety teams to ground product and policy decisions in rigorous evidence.
- Conduct pre-launch risk assessment, evaluation of AI features, longitudinal safety measurement, and research into high-risk user populations.
