- Own the architecture and scalability of backend systems including Postgres, job queues, OpenSearch, Redis, and data pipelines.
- Scale infrastructure from tens of thousands of jobs to orders of magnitude more, proactively anticipating customer demand.
- Make critical tradeoffs between quick fixes and long-term investments to ensure optimal impact.
- Set the standard for reliability, observability, and operational excellence for production systems.
- Partner with leadership and product engineers on architecture decisions and system integration.
