Responsibilities
- Build small pipeline tools and scripts using Python, Verse, and DCC APIs to automate artist workflows
- Profile arenas and assets in-engine for draw calls, overdraw, texture memory, LODs, and vertex budgets
- Author and iterate on real-time materials and shaders for signature game surfaces
- Import and optimize assets from DCC packages like Maya, Blender, or Substance into the game engine
- Collaborate directly with technical artists, rendering engineers, and environment artists to resolve blockers
