Responsibilities

• Define and maintain system-level requirements and architecture across all current hardware and future devices, serving as the authoritative voice on how devices collaborate, communicate, and fail gracefully together.
• Lead discovery on new and existing hardware types, partnering with hardware, software and commercial teams to evaluate sensing technologies, device configurations, technical feasibility, regulatory constraints, and business expansion opportunities.
• Own product programs from PRD kick-off through Concept, EVT, DVT, PVT, and into mass production, driving hardware-phase requirements, gate decisions, and cross-team alignment at each milestone.
• Identify integration gaps, reliability risks, and cross-device dependencies, surfacing concrete, well-reasoned trade-off recommendations to engineering leadership.
• Work closely with the implementation team to translate real-world deployment constraints into product requirements and quickly triage unexpected system behaviors in the field.
