Responsibilities

• Provide DB2 system programming support, database maintenance, backups, restores, and reorganizations for mainframe environments.
• Perform mainframe database software upgrades, tuning, and optimization including DB2 buffer pools and SQL code.
• Fulfill customer service orders and resolve problems related to DB2 table spaces across multiple client environments.
• Support disaster recovery planning and migration services for transitioning new clients.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures and provide 24x7x365 on-call support.
