Responsibilities

• Own how production runs across colocation and the cloud, managing deployment, capacity, and failover.
• Build, lead, and mentor the systems administration function, including hiring as the company grows.
• Perform hands-on Linux and network administration, automating routine tasks via Infrastructure as Code.
• Set and publish the engineering standards and strategy for running production.
• Own incident response, on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, recovery runbooks, and recovery drills.
