Responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions and optical trades for novel near-to-eye display sub-systems.
• Own the optical system across its full lifecycle including integration, alignment, test, verification, and validation (V&V).
• Define optical performance requirements and flow them down into component and subassembly specifications.
• Build and defend the optical error budget, allocating tolerance across components and assembly processes.
• Partner closely with optical process engineering to co-develop manufacturing and metrology processes.
