Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of incoming mechanical parts, electronic assemblies, and wire harnesses per engineering drawings and AS9102 guidelines.
  • Utilize standard hand tools and advanced metrology equipment like CMM, optical comparators, and FaroArms to verify part dimensions.
  • Review supplier-provided documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and material test reports (MTRs), for compliance.
  • Document and segregate non-conforming materials, initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and assist SQEs in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
  • Travel to supplier facilities (up to 20%) to perform source inspections, audit processes, and foster strong technical relationships.
