• Write production code, review pull requests, and contribute directly to the Next.js framework and its supporting systems.
• Lead major technical initiatives from initial exploration through architecture, implementation, and production rollout.
• Set technical direction and make architectural decisions across rendering, caching, routing, build systems, and runtime.
• Provide focused people leadership, set expectations, give candid feedback, and support career development for engineers on the team.
• Improve team execution by creating lightweight planning and decision-making practices that clarify ownership and reduce coordination.
