Senior Software Engineer, Data Center Infrastructure Tooling

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own the data layer, APIs, and services that power internal infrastructure tools for planning, visualizing, and managing massive amounts of infrastructure.
• Develop data models and APIs to capture the complexity of datacenter infrastructure, including devices, connectivity, cabling, power, cooling, and spatial relationships.
• Implement high-throughput API services in Go (gRPC, GraphQL, and/or REST) supporting complex filtering, aggregation, and bulk operations across large datasets.
• Define the backend architecture from the ground up, including service structure, data access patterns, caching strategy, and API contracts.
• Own deployment and operational infrastructure for services, including Kubernetes manifests, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and reliability practices.
