Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company’s highest-level technical authority on energetic safety, establishing enterprise strategy, governance, and standards across all business units.
  • Provide technical oversight for operations involving solid rocket motors, propellants, missile assembly, and warhead integration.
  • Serve as the enterprise technical authority for the design, expansion, modernization, and commissioning of manufacturing and storage facilities handling energetic materials.
  • Lead or provide technical oversight for Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Explosive Safety Site Plans (ESSP), and Quantity-Distance (Q-D) analyses.
  • Investigate energetic incidents, near misses, and process anomalies to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.

Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, Safety Engineering, Explosives Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
