Responsibilities
- Drive the organization’s direction and roadmap for security, influencing adoption of major technology areas and making decisions with long-term impact on Databricks' security posture.
- Lead complex security investigations, impact analysis, and crisis management using the Incident Management System (IMS), communicating findings to executive leadership.
- Exhibit expert knowledge across AWS, Azure, and GCP, understanding architectural components and their security risks, and establish a cutting-edge threat detection and response program to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
- Architect scalable frameworks for security automation and orchestration, including pre-investigation analysis and triage of alerts, consistent with organizational goals.
- Proactively identify and solve difficult, company-impacting security problems, possessing a full understanding of malicious activity across cloud layers and correlating data from multiple sources during investigations.
