Responsibilities

• Perform mainframe database Software upgrades, administration, and tuning for Software AG ADABAS environments.
• Manage day-to-day database maintenance including definition changes, backups, restores, space monitoring, and reorganizations.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures and provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Execute database optimization, performance reviews, tuning, and new client onboarding.
• Maintain documentation for all tasks and adhere to change management policies.
