Responsibilities
- Design the context ontology for agents and build data pipelines to hydrate agent state.
- Work across Product Engineering, Agent Engineering (context engineering, tool design), Agent Platform (harness engineering, eval systems), Platform & Infrastructure, and Agent Data.
- Solve problems related to user comfort with nondeterministic systems, agent state management over long horizons, and tool abstraction for agents.
- Extract dense signal from long-running agent trajectories and engineer monorepos for agent ergonomics.
- Contribute to Atlas, building AI systems for Basis's internal functions, including context layers, internal agents, and knowledge systems.
