Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own the backend services powering Mercor's agentic workflows including orchestration, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop review
• Ship AI agents into production and iterate on prompts, tools, guardrails, and latency tradeoffs
• Build offline and online evaluation infrastructure to detect agent regressions and measure performance
• Partner with product, operations, and AI researchers to define what workflows should run on agents versus deterministic systems
