Responsibilities
- Lead the technical foundations for a new R&D game, working across engineering, QA, art, and design.
- Architect core game features, evaluate technologies, and direct the work of other engineers on engine, tools, build, rendering, and console features.
- Investigate, understand, and solve complex technical problems at the team level, including performance profiling and optimization for CPU and memory usage.
- Advance engineering best practices in code quality, automated testing, and maintainable architecture.
- Provide mentorship to new engineers and support their technical growth as the team scales.
