- Perform mainframe database software upgrades, administration, and tuning for Software AG ADABAS environments.
- Manage day-to-day database maintenance including definition changes, backups, restores, space monitoring, and reorganizations.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support on a scheduled rotation and maintain comprehensive documentation adhering to change management policies.
- Collaborate with vendor personnel to resolve database problems and review new product versions for client benefit.
- Support and execute disaster recovery plans and troubleshoot/resolve production database and performance issues.
