Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain the NNPI Security Plan in strict alignment with NAVSEA and OPNAVINST directives.
• Serve as the designated authority for determining, applying, and verifying NNPI/NOFORN markings on technical data and assets.
• Establish and manage rigorous access-control protocols, active enforcement of need-to-know, and prevention of foreign disclosure.
• Collaborate with Information Security and IT Teams to ensure environments meet accredited standards like NIST SP 800-171.
• Serve as the primary liaison to government security officers for compliance inspections and direct incident response efforts.
