Responsibilities

• Define, lead, and contribute to the development of data-intensive enhancements in Elasticsearch's new compute engine.
• Research the latest features, data structures, and algorithms to build the right capabilities for users.
• Work with partners and product teams to understand needs and build a strategic vision for ES|QL and the compute engine.
• Provide technical vision and direction for customer/user interfaces and underlying language syntax and compute infrastructure.
• Improve areas of Elasticsearch based on your expertise and instincts.
