Responsibilities
- Contribute to Elasticsearch, building data-intensive new features and fixing bugs, making the code easier to understand.
- Research and implement optimal data structures and algorithms, sometimes working close to the operating system and hardware.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams focused on search and query (ES|QL) analytics capabilities, including UI and API solution teams.
- Become an expert in several areas of Elasticsearch, guiding improvements based on insights and instincts.
- Engage with community members on issues and pull requests, triaging and resolving them as appropriate.
