Responsibilities

• Work with a globally distributed team focused on data storage mechanisms and query capabilities of Elasticsearch.
• Act as an expert in the storage engine area, improving it based on questions and instincts.
• Contribute to Elasticsearch by building data-intensive new features, fixing bugs, and increasing testing coverage.
• Design and implement advanced algorithms and data structures, often working at the system and hardware level.
• Engage with the global community for triaging and resolving issues and pull requests.
