Responsibilities

Design and develop the core decision-making and autonomy software that powers autonomous underwater vehicles
Manage and develop a small team of 3-4 employees initially, setting priorities and providing coaching
Act as the technical owner for an entire mission system, including requirements, roadmap, and design
Write and maintain core libraries including frame transformations, targeting, guidance, and communications
Travel up to 15% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world

Requirements

Required: Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
