Responsibilities

• Independently own and drive high-impact objectives that span multiple Amplify teams, defining the technical roadmap for scalable internal applications, APIs, data/event pipelines, and AI-powered workflows.
• Be accountable for the long-term technical health of Amplify’s systems—quality, reliability, scalability, cost, and security—across a significant slice of Klaviyo engineering.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of large, multi-team initiatives, providing clear technical direction and architectural leadership from discovery to long-term ownership.
• Set the standard for AI-native engineering, using modern AI tools and defining guardrails for responsible AI-powered systems.
• Own the response to complex performance, scalability, and reliability issues, working with teams during incidents and turning learnings into preventative changes.
