Responsibilities
- Own Toptal’s AI technology strategy and the architecture beneath it, deploying agentic engineering at scale against core business workflows.
- Own technical architecture end-to-end, managing throughput, reliability, platform layer, and overall engineering and AI cost structures.
- Manage workforce planning, team sizing, headcount planning, and define technical hiring standards.
- Drive product execution, collaborating closely with Product teams to design and expose modular business interfaces.
- Establish shared AI architecture, evals, and regression suites to ensure measurable AI system quality.
