Responsibilities
- Build and ship agentic tools and integrations that enable Claude to execute life science workflows like bioinformatics pipelines and literature review.
- Design and build evaluation benchmarks to measure model capabilities on biology tasks such as figure interpretation and protocol reasoning.
- Work closely with product and design teams to scope, prototype, and ship features for life sciences users.
- Partner with external biotech, pharma, and academic users to understand workflows and translate feedback into product improvements.
- Build and maintain the engineering infrastructure for our biology product surface, including tool scaffolding, data pipelines, and eval harnesses.

Requirements
Required: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Preferred: Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, bioengineering, CS, or a related quantitative field
