Responsibilities

  • Serve as Incident Commander for critical, cross-functional, and high-severity incidents across Twilio.
  • Formulate and drive the 1-3 year strategic vision for Twilio's incident response processes and tooling.
  • Enforce incident response standards at the Director and VP levels and define company-wide response OKRs.
  • Mentor and train other Incident Commanders and engineering teams to build organization-wide response capacity.
  • Partner across non-engineering functions such as Security, Support, and Product during major incidents.
